From the young age of 10, Alex developed an interest in the human body through practicing competitive judo. He joined the Junior National Team of Uzbekistan at age 16. The team got weekly rehabilitation massages, leading Alex to recognize the importance of massage for athletes. One year later, he began studying to become a judo coach and sport teacher.
During this time, he also studied general massage and sports massage. After graduation, Alex stayed on to work as a gym instructor and sports facility supervisor. It was then that massage truly became his passion, hobby and second source of income. With a wide range of classes under his belt, including 1000 hours of medical massage, Thai yoga massage, hot stone massage, deep tissue massage and anmo, Alex is uniquely equipped to serve his clients using a signature massage he has developed from what he feels to be his most effective techniques.
As Alex puts it, “Not only athletes need regular massages. Everyone does because of excessive sitting, poor posture, lifestyle and ergonomics.” He has found that massage can improve everyone’s life, enabling them to continue working productively. “Massage is not a luxury, but a necessity. I have had many jobs, but massage has a special place in my heart because it inspires and satisfies me when I help to facilitate healing through multiple therapies.” And thanks to his background in athletics and physical education, Alex has a head start when it comes to seeing the big picture: “This enables me to take a more holistic, full-body approach to improve my clients’ lives by giving them tips for a healthy lifestyle.”
