In this class we’ll begin with a 10 minute meditation/body scan. This can be done seated or reclined. Here we build skills of awareness. We learn to abide in the inner space that notices and allows whatever is present to be experienced without judgement or correction. Then we will practice 5 or 6 Yin Yoga postures carrying this same spacious awareness throughout. Cues for modification of the postures as needed as well as mindfulness techniques and self-inquiry will be given throughout. We end with 5 minutes of deep rest. No prior meditation experience is needed to participate in this class.
