Classical mat pilates class is a full body workout class. It helps to promote control, flexibility and balance. Most exercises are performed on a floor mat. The class will start and end in a standing position. It’s a very safe and effective way to tone the muscles of the whole body. The major focus through the class is geared towards the alignment of the body and engagement of the muscles of the thighs, buttocks and abdominal wall. As a result, it fundamentally strengthens the core. In the long run, the mat class will teach the clients how to grow in body awareness, and prevent injuries caused by misalignment.
***In order to attend the class the client you must able to get on and off the floor independently.***
***Yoga sessions can be used for this Class. However, there will be a $7 additional upcharge per class for Yoga Class session package holders***
