Laura is a Registered Dietitian who believes that “all foods fit.? She focuses on helping others to find a balance in life so they can become the healthiest versions of themselves.
Laura has extensive experience in clinical nutrition, including Cardiac Rehabilitation. She has worked as a Clinical dietitian offering nutrition counseling for Cardiac rehab patients who are participating in a 12-week rehabilitation program. Laura has also provided dietary care of patients and residents with special needs including screening, assessment, intervention and care.
Growing up as an athlete, Laura learned to use food as fuel, which led her to a career of helping others view and use food in a positive, healthy way. Her passions include nutrition counseling, exercise, and motivating others. Laura is eager to use her nutrition knowledge, experience, and compassion to guide individuals toward a healthy lifestyle.
Described as honest and non-judgmental, Laura understands that life happens. She understands that everyone’s version of a “healthy lifestyle” is unique to them, as individuals, based on both their daily life and their personal health and wellness goals.
Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Scranton. She received her Master?s degree in Nutrition from Marywood University. In addition, she completed the Didactic Program in Dietetics from Sodexo.
Laura is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has a certification in ServSafe Food and Safety, Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) and Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) Certification.
In her free time, Laura enjoys hiking and working out, yoga. She also loves cooking and especially baking! She also enjoys gathering with family and friends to enjoy good food and trying new restaurants. Laura resides in Hatboro, PA with her husband and baby girl.
